At least... at least this year's vibrating slippers are a nice, girly shade of pink, so I can feel like a princess while my anxieties are being massaged away by battery-operated faux suede...

OMG...I'm sorry, but I had to laugh. That's so bad...especially after reading your post from last Christmas.
My step-mom is known to give some HORRIBLE gifts too. This year we faired out pretty well, but one year I got a pair of black velvet elastic waist pants that were 2 sizes too big, and my husband got a toilet snake. I kid you not. What are some people thinking when they buy this stuff?
I think they get them from the thousands of cheap quick gifts catalogs that come in the mail every year. My sis did a lot of her shopping in one this year... fortunately, she has a modicum (sp?) of taste and didn't get some of the tackier objects... like the farting santa...
I think they want you to put the smaller pair from last Xmas on your hands!
